Başakşehir I. Phase, has been established on 47.3 hectares of grounds, and has different plans in 79 blocks of 6, 8 and 10 stories, totaling 3004 residences. Başakşehir I. Phase where approximately 15,000 people reside contains car parks in addition to kindergartens, 2 primary schools, a boy and a girl student dormitory, 5 payer rooms, a mosque, a petrol station, 3 bazaars and social activity areas. Başakşehir I. Phase, with its extensive green area is an example self sufficient contemporary urban city.
A Başakşehir I. Phase residences is the first project KİPTAŞ bought to life. KİPTAŞ made the maximum effort to ensure that in its first project, the residences had all the attributes expected from first class, livable, healthy and secure residences. The residences were constructed using the radial foundations and tunnel formswork systems were applied after a ground survey had been conducted. Başakşehir where the green areas for the residents were planned in excess of the national standards is located 4 kilometers north from the Tem Motorway, Mahmutbey exit. The site is only 12 kms from the Atatürk Airport. The residences, whose foundations were laid in 17 May 1995, were completed 10 months prior to their estimated completion and delivered to their owners. This first project carried out by KİPTAŞ; is a demonstration of its quality and professionalism and the evidence of the trust felt for the company itself.
Kiptaş Bazaar;
Kiptaş Bazaar is laid on 6790 meter square of grounds and consists of 45 stores, 1 restaurant and a market. The bazaar which has been designed to cater for every requirement of the residents also possesses a 47 vehicle car park and carwash. (See picture)
Mehmed Zahid Efendi Bazaar;
Mehmed Zahid Efendi Bazaar, consists of 9 shops and offices of the Başakşehir I. and II. Phase Administration and a meeting room. There is also a patisserie in the garden of the bazaar.
Mehmed Zahid Efendi Mosque;
the mosque which is located in the commercial area has a capacity of 350 persons and also has large pergola in its garden.
Denta Bazaar and the Hacı Semavi Mosque;
The Bazaar has, 1 market and 9 shops. The Hacı Semavi Mosque Başakşehir I. Phase which draws attention due to its different architecture has a capacity of 250 people.
Recreation Area;
The residents of Başakşehir I. Phase have a recreation area where they can promenade and relax without having to encounter the traffic in contrast to the daily hubbub and noise of the city. The area contains a playground, ornamental pools, a cafeteria and a pergola. The recreation area which is connected to the commercial center enables the residents to shop and relax at the same time.
Başakşehir I. Phase has 3 commercial centers. The bazaars which have been designed to meet every type of requirement contain; market, pharmacy, restaurant and similar.
Esma Hatun Child care center;
The center that has a capacity for 80 children where parents can leave their children in complete confidence in addition to 8 classes and 3 play terraces.
Hayati Üstün Health Center and Maternity Ward;
The health center whose basement and ground floor is an outpatients clinic also contains a 6 bed maternity room , 1 pain room, 1 baby room and special patient room all of which have been allocated to the maternity ward.
Başakşehir I. Phase, site hosts the Hacı Semavi mosque with a capacity of 250 persons, the 300 person capacity Hacı Ahmet Efendi Mosque, and the 350 person capacity Mehmet Zahit Efendi Mosque.
The site which has a car park of 1052 vehicles has resolved its parking problems. THE CAR PARKS have been laid with parquet stone in consideration of the environmental aesthetics.
Cahit Zarifoğlu Primary School;
Başakşehir Cahit Zarifoğlu Primary School which takes its name from the children’s poet and writer of the same name, started providing education in the 1997-98 academic year. The school hosts 12 classes, 2 laboratories and 2 pre school classes. The school with its fully equipped science and computer lab provides the most modern education opportunities for its students. The 2 pre school classes give pre schooling to the children. Cahit Zarifoğlu Primary School draws attention with its spacious premises and its large garden.
